These terms govern your use of Nimanto at nimanto.com, a service of Nimanto Inc (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
Nimanto lets hosts design digital invitations, share them by link, and collect RSVPs. Free templates are free to design, publish and share. Premium templates require a one-time payment before an invitation built from them can be published.
Accounts
You must be 16 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password private. Collaborators you add can edit your events and see your guests, so add people you trust.
Your content and your guests
You keep ownership of the text, photos and music you upload. You grant us a licence to store, process and display them solely to provide the service. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload, including music, and that you have permission to share your guests’ contact details with us.
Album photos, and what is not allowed in them. The photo album lets your guests add pictures, and those pictures are published to everyone else holding the album link. There is no tolerance here for objectionable content: nothing sexual or nude, nothing violent or graphic, nothing that harasses, bullies or attacks a person or a group, nothing that shows someone who has asked not to be shown, and nothing that belongs to somebody else. Anyone looking at an album can report a photo, and a reported photo is hidden from the album immediately, before anyone at Nimanto or the host has seen it. The host then decides whether it goes back. Hosts can block a guest from adding anything further, and can require every guest photo to be approved before it appears. We may remove content, block an uploader or suspend an account for breaking this, and we will act on reports of unlawful material without waiting to be asked twice.
Your guest list must be people you know personally and who would expect an invitation from you: family, friends, colleagues, members of your community. You may not add purchased, rented, scraped or harvested addresses, addresses collected for another purpose, or people who have asked you not to contact them. Invitations, reminders and updates sent through Nimanto must be about the event you created, not promotions or unrelated content. Every guest e-mail carries an unsubscribe link that we honour on your behalf, and an address that bounces or reports our e-mail as spam is blocked for every host; we may suspend accounts whose sending attracts complaints or bounces.
Acceptable use
Do not use Nimanto to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate others, to collect data deceptively, or to publish unlawful, hateful or infringing content. Each account has a fair-use weekly e-mail allowance, which keeps invitations from being used for bulk mail; it is not to be worked around with multiple accounts. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these rules.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. A premium template purchase applies to one invitation. If a premium invitation cannot be published because of a fault on our side, we will fix it or refund the purchase. Extra date-change unlocks are non-refundable once used.
Published invitations
A published invitation is a public web page for anyone who has its link. Personal guest links are unique but not secret; do not rely on them as authentication. You can unpublish an event at any time, after which the link stops working.
Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by e-mail. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: hello@nimanto.com.
