How can we help?
Getting started
What is Nimanto?
Nimanto makes digital invitations that open like a real card: an animated envelope, your music, and a page guests scroll through on any phone, with nothing to install.
Each invitation also runs the event for you: replies with plus-ones and dietary notes land in your dashboard, reminders go out on time, guests add photos to a shared album, and you get a summary the morning after.
Create your first invitation
Choose Create, pick what you are celebrating, then choose a design. The form asks only for the details that design shows: names, date and time, venue, and any extra pages it has.
The preview beside the form updates as you type, so you see the invitation exactly as guests will. When everything is filled in, create it; it stays a draft until you publish.
- Missing details are marked before the invitation is created, so no sample text goes out by mistake.
- You can change any word, colour or photo later in the editor.
Free and premium designs
Every occasion has free designs you can publish at no cost. Premium designs are marked on their tile; you pay once for that invitation when you publish it, unless your monthly plan includes it.
Browse everything in the catalogue and use Preview to watch a design play, envelope and effects included, before you choose.
Design Genie (AI designs)
Can't find the one? Describe the occasion, your colours and the mood, and Design Genie, our AI designer, paints invitation designs in your look. Pick the one you like, ask for a change if you need one, then fill it in and send it like any other design.
It appears as a banner at the top of the catalogue and in the Templates menu while the feature is available. How many drafts you get, how many revisions and the price are shown on the brief page; some plans include it.
Designs & editing
Change words, photos and colours
Open the invitation from your dashboard and choose Edit. Tap any text to change it, replace any photo, and pick colours from the theme; every element on the phone-sized canvas can be moved or restyled.
Pages you do not need can be switched off, and a page of optional details disappears on its own when you leave it empty.
Long names or addresses
Type them as they should read. When a line runs longer than the design's sample, the lines under it move down to make room and the page grows, so nothing is printed over anything else.
Add or change the music
Choose a track from the library of original instrumentals for every occasion, or upload your own MP3. Guests hear it once they open the envelope and can mute it with one tap.
Envelope intros and effects
The envelope is the first thing a guest sees: wax seals, petal bursts, curtains, gift boxes and more, each animated on tap. Effects such as falling petals, hearts, lights and sparkle play over the invitation.
Both can be changed or switched off in the editor. Some intros and effects are premium, like designs.
See it the way guests will
The preview beside the form and in the editor is the real invitation, envelope and effects included. After publishing, open your link on your own phone to check it end to end.
Schedule & guest pages
Add functions to the schedule
Designs with a schedule list each function with its name and time. A function without a date of its own is on the invitation's date, and every function is held at the venue from your basic details unless you tick "Different venue".
Several functions on one day become that day's programme with one reply from guests; tick "Separate RSVP" on the rare function guests choose separately.
The "Good to know" page
Dress code, gifts, travel and parking, a hashtag and who to contact live on the "Good to know" page. It starts switched off; switch it on when you create the invitation and fill in only the lines you want. Lines left blank are left out.
Where to stay
Add hotels for out-of-town guests: each place gets a card with its address, the price, rooms held for your guests and a way to book. Leave it empty and the page stays out of the invitation.
Gifts and registries
Write a line about gifts in your own words, then add each registry as a tile guests can tap. Leave it empty and the page stays out of the invitation.
Maps, calendar and countdown
The venue's address becomes a map with directions, guests can add the event to their calendar in one tap, and designs with a countdown count down to your date and time.
Sending & guests
Publish your invitation
When it looks right, choose Publish in your dashboard. Premium designs are paid for at this step unless your plan includes them. Once published, the invitation has its own link and you can start sending.
Send it on WhatsApp, text or email
Every guest can get their own personal link, sent by email or text from Nimanto, or shared on WhatsApp from your phone. You can also share one link in a group chat.
- Personal links know who is replying, so their answer lands against their name.
- Whoever replies through a shared link joins your guest list.
- Text messages depend on your plan; see pricing.
Build your guest list
Add guests one by one or import a CSV file from a spreadsheet or your contacts, and export the list to CSV at any time. The list shows who has been sent the invitation, who opened it and who replied.
Plan together with co-hosts
Invite a partner, family member or planner as a collaborator on the invitation, so they can help manage guests and replies from their own account.
Reminders
Two automatic reminders can go out before the event: one to guests who have not replied yet, and one the day before. Switch each on or off on the Guests page, and send a message of your own whenever you need to.
Change the date or venue after sending
Edit the details in your dashboard and the invitation updates for everyone at once; the link stays the same. Let guests know with a message from the Guests page.
- A published invitation can change its date a few times for free; a premium design can buy another change after that.
- A postponement can move the date by up to a year. An event that has already taken place can't be moved or renamed: use Duplicate to start a new invitation from the same design.
RSVPs
What guests are asked
Guests answer Yes, No or Maybe, and can add plus-ones, dietary notes and a message. With a schedule, they choose which days they will join. You decide in the RSVP settings which questions to ask and how many plus-ones a guest may bring.
Approvals and a waitlist
Turn on approvals to confirm each reply yourself before it counts, or set a capacity so replies after it join a waitlist that you can move people off as places open.
Track replies
Every reply lands in the dashboard as it arrives, with totals for who is coming, plus-ones and dietary notes. You can be told of each new reply by email, and by text on plans that include it.
A guest wants to change their reply
Guests open their link again and change their answer; the dashboard updates straight away. You can also change a guest's reply for them from the Guests page.
Photo album
The digital album from a QR code
Every invitation can have a shared photo album. Print its QR code for the tables, and guests add photos from their own phones without an app. Everyone invited sees them, and hears when new ones land.
Hide or remove a photo
From the Photos page you can hide any photo, and guests can report one. A reported photo is hidden at once until you decide, and you can block an uploader from adding more.
The morning-after summary
The day after your event you get an email with who came, who could not, how many photos were shared, and a word of thanks.
Plans & payments
Plans
Nimanto is free to start: design, publish and collect replies on every plan. Monthly plans (Gather, Celebrate and Grand) add more active invitations, more guests, text messages and premium designs included. Current limits and prices are on the pricing page.
Paying for a premium design
A premium design is paid once, for that invitation, when you publish it. If your plan includes the design, publishing costs nothing extra. Sales tax may be added at checkout where it applies.
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel
Change your plan from your account at any time. An upgrade starts straight away; a downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and your invitations stay live.
Promo codes
Enter a promo code at checkout. If a code does not apply, check the dates and the plan it is for, or contact us.
Account & privacy
Signing in
Sign in with Google, with Apple, or with your email and a password. Use the same method each time so your invitations stay in one account.
Forgot your password? Choose "Forgot password?" on the log-in page, enter your email, and we send you a 6-digit code to set a new one. After 5 incorrect passwords in a row, signing in with a password pauses for 15 minutes; resetting your password lets you straight back in.
Stop emails from Nimanto
Every email from an invitation has an unsubscribe link. A guest who unsubscribes stops getting messages sent through Nimanto; the invitation link itself keeps working for them.
Cookies and analytics
We only use analytics cookies if you choose "Accept all". Change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Delete your account
You can delete your Nimanto account yourself in the Nimanto app, or ask us to do it for you.
- In the Nimanto app: open Account, tap Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. The account is deleted straight away.
- Without the app: write to hello@nimanto.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We delete it within 30 days and write back to confirm.
What is deleted: your account and sign-in, every invitation you host with its guest list, replies, messages and photo album, your contacts, saved designs, Design Genie briefs, reviews and notifications. Your published invitation links stop working, and a paid plan is cancelled at once, without a refund.
What is kept: invitations you helped host for someone else stay with their host. Records of payments you made are kept by our payment providers (Stripe and Razorpay) for as long as tax law requires. An email address that unsubscribed or bounced stays on our do-not-mail list, so it is never emailed again.
