Nimanto, operated by Nimanto Inc, sends one kind of text message: an RSVP alert to a host, about their own invitation. This page says exactly who gets one, how often, what it costs and how to stop them.
Who we text
Only a host, and only at the number that host typed into their own invitation. When you create an invitation on nimanto.com you can enter a phone number under Search & notifications → Host notifications and tick the box beside it agreeing to be texted there. Nothing is sent until that box is ticked, and it is never ticked for you.
We never text guests. A guest who replies to an invitation may leave a phone number so the host can reach them; that number is passed to the host and is never used by us to send a message. Nobody is added to this programme by anybody else.
What the messages say
a text when a guest replies to your invitation, naming the guest and their answer, and a link to the host’s dashboard. For example:
Nimanto RSVP - Anjali & Vikram: Priya Menon accepts (2 guests). https://nimanto.com/dashboard/events/… Reply STOP to opt out.
They are service messages about your own event. We do not send marketing, promotions or anything unrelated to the invitation you created.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies — one text per reply, within your plan's monthly allowance. Msg & data rates may apply. Nimanto does not charge for the text itself; your mobile operator may, under your own plan.
Stopping them
Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. STOP takes effect immediately and for every invitation on your account. You can also untick the box, or clear the number, on the invitation’s notification card at any time — the e-mail alert keeps working either way.
HELP replies with how to reach us. You can also write to hello@nimanto.com.
Your number
The number is used to send you these alerts and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. It is passed only to the network operator that carries the message. What we keep of a send, and for how long, is set out in our Privacy Policy; the rest of the service is covered by our Terms of Service.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your operator and is not guaranteed.
